About Hobby Workshop

Hobby Workshop was founded by Andrew Hornyak & Jamie Renwick in 2018 with a passion for both table top gaming and scale modelling. It started from a small two-person operation, growing to a team of 6 friendly and knowledgeable staff, with thousands of active, loyal and passionate customers.

Originally started as a online company we quickly grew and opened our Barnsley based walk in store in 2021 (S75 1HT) offering great face to face customer service and advice with one of the largest UK stockists for Warhammer, Paints and accessories in the UK.

2022 saw yet another expansion to the store by adding a 10 table fully set up games room offering all table use for free along with free customer parking to help grow a gaming community here in South Yorkshire and bringing like minded people together.
